We’re proud to share that three of our Dale Boro Fire Company members recently completed the Essentials of Firefighting program at the West Hills Regional Fire Department, sponsored by the Cambria County Regional Firefighter's Association, in partnership with Bucks County Community College.![]()

Over several months, they dedicated over 170 hours to training in firefighting skills, Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations, and live fire evolutions. Today, they are now certified as Interior Firefighters after successfully completing a live fire structural burn session.![]()

The Dale Borough Fire Company was activated for a house fire with entrapment on the evening of April 25th, 2025 on the 800 Block of Annie Street. Personnel were on scene within minutes of being activated. Attack 4 and Engine 4 responded with mutual aid fire companies. ![]()

On Sunday, April 6th, members of the Dale Borough Fire Company traveled to PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA, to participate in a special ceremony hosted by Defib Manatee in partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates. During the pre-game event, the Fire Company was honored to receive the 215th donated Automated External Defibrillator (AED) — a crucial life-saving device that will enhance the department’s emergency response capabilities, as well as the safety of our first responders.![]()

The AED was personally presented by Ernie Withers of Defib Manatee, an organization dedicated to placing defibrillators in the hands of first responders and public servants across the country. The presentation took place on the field just before the start of the Pirates’ Sunday home game.![]()

“We are deeply honored to receive the 215th donated AED,” said River Dorn, Fire Chief of Dale Borough Fire Company. “This generous donation from Ernie Withers, Defib Manatee, and the Pittsburgh Pirates strengthens our ability to respond to emergencies and ensures the safety of both our responders and community members. We are incredibly grateful for their support and a special thank you to Firefighter Joe Klucker for reaching out to Defib Manatee.”![]()
