Community Outreach at Ferndale Area School 🚒On Friday, April 24, members of the Dale Borough Volunteer Fire Company traveled to Ferndale Area Senior/Junior High School to speak with students about the importance of volunteering and serving their community.Representing Dale Borough were Chief Dorn, Vice President Bates, Lieutenant Sullivan, and Firefighter Mazzarella. Our members take great pride in engaging with students and representing the dedication, teamwork, and service that define our fire company. We were also proud to be joined by neighboring departments, including Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, West Hills Regional Volunteer Fire Department, and Middle Taylor Volunteer Fire Company. Together, we highlighted the strength of community cooperation and the vital role volunteer fire departments play in protecting our neighborhoods.Remember—it's never too late to join your local fire service. If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference, serve others, and answer the call when your community needs you most, now is the time to start. Every member plays an important role at the fire station, and there is a place for everyone willing to step up. We need dedicated individuals of all backgrounds and skill sets—and your journey can begin today.💪🔥 Serve your community. Make a difference. Answer the call. ... See MoreSee Less
